The Farmer's
Market, recently opened in October 2014, is a restaurant and
farmer's market that offers an innovative environment for
food, events and organic produce. Brought to you by a mix of
lawyers, musicians, music producers, writers and advertising
agents, The Farmer's Market introduces a new and exciting
venue that expresses art, culture, healthful cuisine and
diverse cutting-edge events.
FARMER'S MARKET
Streetside
vendors have become very popular here at the restaurant and
we love the concept. Farmer's Market tries to create a
comfortable environment for everyone. We want to provide a
space where customers can have their food fresh, but enjoy
the feel of the street-side vendor atmosphere. In addition,
we also have a fruits and vegetable stall (Organo by
Greenthumb) and a fish stall (Bhairab Fish and Co.) on
Fridays between 12pm to 1pm.
THE EXPERIENCE
We offer a
variety of cuisine and a very nice environment for people
who just want to go somewhere to chill out and enjoy their
time with friends and family. Enjoy an upbeat and friendly
environment with rustic decor and plenty of lights and
brightness. We want our customers to be able to feel at
home. Once a week our DJ friends come and spin for us to add
to the ambiance and create a lounge-style atmosphere.

between Gulshan 1 and 2, steps from the main road. And the
Dhaka Museum of Toys is also on the second floor of our
building for all Comicon lovers.
We have a
dedicated cleaning person who cleans the kitchen and the
premises three times a day. In addition, our chefs use
gloves and hair nets to ensure the most hygienic food
preparation. We also have a checklist which the manager has
to go around and fill out, and then hand to one of the
partners three times a day so that we can keep tabs on the
upkeep of the cleanliness.
ON THE MENU
Our menu offers
food for every palate. It caters to everyone. Some popular
dishes include burgers, cheese steaks and also our Thai
cuisine. Our Thai chef is formerly of Luam’s, our Chinese
chef from Cuppa Coffee. We also have very experienced Bangla
and Kebab chefs. A few of our specilties include the Hebby
Joss Cheese Burger - Single all beef or chicken patty with
“the break’s” special sauce, tomato, onion and lettuce; The
Dhaka Cheese Steak (Chicken or Beef) - Sautéed beef or
chicken strips, with onion, mushroom, jalapeno, and
mozzarella or American cheese. Deshi Breakfast Sandwich - A
2-egg omelette with green chilies, Dhaka ponir and onions,
topped with Kalo Bhuna Beef; White Mushroom Salad w/ Chicken
- A very tasty and refreshing salad made of white and black
mushrooms with minced chicken and the Single One-Der - 1
Yellow Submarine waffle with topping of your choice toppings
such as Nutella, Maple Syrup, Strawberry Jam, Peanut Butter
and Hershey's Chocolate/Strawberry Syrup and Ice Cream.
